Big business has turned its attention to new devices, mobile platforms and their always-connected customer.  Much of the buzz in mobile has been around small companies and new entrants breaking into the market with cool applications, games and social media services.  In this session we’ll focus on the potential and challenges for companies with hundreds or thousands of employees, millions of existing customers and billions of dollars of revenue as they chart a course in mobile, and the opportunities these present for our local mobile companies.

Issues range from the pragmatic – platform proliferation – to the profound – how does mobile add value to customers already transacting billions of dollars of business via bricks & mortar and web?   There should be plenty of talk of iOS vs Android, but also debate about how and why to introduce a new mobile channel into already strong and already multi-channel relationships. And, since implementation requires plenty of support from innovative companies, large and small, we’ll find out how they seek out and work with partners and suppliers.

The panel will have representatives from several industries, including financial services, transportation, and retail providing diversity in the business objectives and strategies that will be discussed.

Join us as we’ll:
- Ask about high priority initiatives
- Share past successes and lessons learned
- Hear about the problems they haven’t yet solved
- And what they need from our mobile community and how to work with them as partners and suppliers.

Come prepared to learn from them, to ask a lot of questions, and hopefully to answer some of the panel members own questions about the future of mobile for big, big business.
